It was raining, Your chauffeur's car had broken down so you had to walk to school, in the rain. You sighed, You supposed that's what you got when you called your driver incompetent. You trudged to the school, luckily it wasn't that far but, you were still soaked to the bone when you walked through the large doors. You headed to the girl's bathroom in search of a towel to dry off with. You slowly opened the double-doors and heard voices, male voices. You tiptoed further into the bathroom attempting to be quiet.
"Hikaru, are you sure this is a good idea?"
"Of course, It's brilliant"
"I don't think that putting shaving cream all over the floor and mirrors is too brilliant..."
"Well, It may not be, but it will be funny to watch the girls slip and slide about"
"Hikaru..."
"Shhhh, I think I hear someone"
You stiffened at this statement and held your breath. You had stopped over the fear of detection.
"Hmph, I suppose it was nothing"
"But, Hikaru, what if Haruhi comes into this bathroom?"
"Hmmm, I didn't think of that, we'll just tell her it's out of order"
"I suppose..."
You decided now was the time to be bold and called out.
"Hello?" You walked further into the bathroom, enough to see the mysterious boys ransacking the bathroom. You gasped, it was the two popular boys from your class, the-the, the Host Club boys. The ones who were in that club for entertaining girls. They had a very big fanbase in the school.
"It's You guys!" You said in shock. The one on the right snapped his fingers.
"That's right, you're in our class, I recognize that pretty face of yours," He said as he sneaked over to your side wrapping his arm around your waist. "Can we keep this little fiasco just between us?"
"You're Hikaru, right?"
"That's right~" He purred "You must be pretty good if you can tell us apart~"
"Mhm, well Hikaru Hittachin, you're going to be in so much trouble," You said as you stalked out of the bathroom to the Chairman's Office, still soaking wet. Later, the twin in question got called to the Chairman's Office, he played it very cool-like and pretended it was probably his parent's summoning's. Although, he did send you a quick glare as he left the room. At the end of class, the other twin approached you.
Probably to chew you out for tattling on his brother.
"Yes?" You asked, having a solid idea of what was next. What did happen surprised you.
"Why, just Hikaru?" He asked "We both were there"
"Huh?" You asked unable to comprehend his statement.
"Why just Hikaru?" He repeated
"Well, I kinda overheard you guys in the bathroom and from what I heard you seemed pretty against the idea so I just, well you know..."
He nodded his head. "I see," He said
"Hey, it's Kaoru, right?"
"Mmm? Yeah, I'm Kauru, and you are Y/N, right?"
"Yeah, that's me" You smile at him "I'm surprised you know my name..."
"Why wouldn't I know your name?" He asked slightly surprised.
"Well, you're so popular, and I'm so... not" He laughed at your remark. You puffed up your cheeks, "You don't have to laugh" You pouted.
"I'm sorry, It's just your so interesting and special Y/N, and it's just funny to know you don't feel the same, I mean you always walk around so confident, I always thought you knew"
"What? Me special, interesting? No..."
"Sure you are Y/N!" He said
"Well, you know what Kaoru, I think you're pretty interesting too"
"We should hang out sometime, I know! Why don't you come and visit me at the Host Club?"
"You sure about that?"
"Yeah, why not? We should really talk to each other more"
"Well, I don't think me and your brother really hit it off..."
"Oh, don't worry about Hikaru, He doesn't stay mad long"
"Well, I suppose I can come over every once in a while"
"That's great!" He said happily hugging you.

It had been two years since then, You had gradually gotten to know both the twins. You thought that Hikaru may have even forgiven you for telling on him two years ago. You had developed such I tight bond to the two of them and became a regular at there table. You had really gotten to know all of the host club but, you and the twins were inseperable.
"-The Which One Is Hikaru Game!" They said in unison. You smirked you could tell the two apart as easily as you could blink now.
"Alright, alright, You are Kaoru and you are Hikaru," You said pointing to the appropriate twin.
"You are-Correct!" They said wrapping their arm's around You. "How do you do it Y/N?"
"It's a secret~"
"Awww, Y/N you must tell us~" The said in unison again, slightly pouting.
"Nope," You said as you wriggled your way out of there grasp. Although you had to admit they were adorable enough to tempt you. Especially Kaoru. You shook your head. None of that.
"Hey Y/N, is something wrong?" Kaoru asked. You shook your head again,
"No, I'm fine" You replied. They both looked at you closely, they normally could tell when you were lying. You guessed that was the exchange for being able to tell them apart.
"You sure?" They both said leaning closer, slowly invading your personal space.
"I'm sure," You said firmly. Hikaru looked at you closely then shrugged and walked off. Kaoru, on the other hand, gave you an intense stare and only stopped when Hikaru called him. When school was over you headed to the Hittachin's House, as you always did. You had your own set of keys and you walked in up to the twins room. You lay out your homework and started to work on it. The Twins usually came a little later due to the Host Club Meetings that happened after every one of their gatherings. Suddenly you heard the door open and close.
"They're here early...?" You asked yourself as you slowly got up to walk down the stairs. You peeked your head downstairs and saw Kaoru, by himself. "Hey Kaoru," You said as you headed downstairs to hug him "Where's Hikaru?"
"Oh, He's at the meeting"
"-And you're not?"
"Yeah, well Hikaru stayed behind for the meeting so I could come here and tell you something"
"Oh? What do you want to tell me?" You asked.
"Oh, well um..." He started, his cheeks seemed to get redder as he spoke."The thing I wanted to tell you was- um - This" He said as he leaned down and pecked you on the cheek. You stood still trying to process what just happened. Once your mind had fully wrapped itself around the situation your cheeks turned bright red.
"I-uh-um" You stuttered unable to formulate words. Kaoru leaned closer and whispered.
"I love you, Y/N"
"I-I love you too" You managed to say. He smiled the worry lines that had tracked his face disappeared as he smiled and leaned down to kiss your lips.
