I was worried I wouldn't be able to post this in time, but here it is.

In hindsight, it would've saved time just to do the phases of the moon, but my creative self just couldn't stop at something so basic, so I compared the relationship of my OCs-- the Wren twins --to the lunar cycle, as well as doing the same on how one twin in particular, Jenny Wren, waned as a human and waxed in her rebirth as a ghost, while her twin brother Joey went through phases of his own trying to cope with his technical loss and maturing as a person despite his man-child mentality, leading him to find love anew in his eventual girlfriend Halia (side-note: canon-wise, Joey wasn't drunk at the Hawaiian luau where he first met Halia, but her tendency to constantly follow him "home" wherever he's staying hints that he might as well have been... plus, adding a moonshine-based intoxicated look on his face adds a bit of comedy to an otherwise serious and wholesome montage), which starts the three of them becoming a whole family as naturally as the moon becoming full, though what struggles await them in the future even I cannot say, even though I know they'll get through it together and be all the stronger for it.

Somehow, making this made me think of a Sesame Street song called "I Don't Want to Live on the Moon", which tells of the wonder of travel and the comforts of being home again ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIq8jL… ), and it mirrors Jenny's desire to travel the world as well as her reluctance to leave Joey behind even in death: without her brother, her family, she's restless and doesn't want to stay very long, as even the heavens don't feel like home if she leaves her loved ones behind. Because of that, the final verse of the song is printed on this image, as it's also her statement that even if she goes to heaven, she won't remain an angel up there for long, as she'd rather be a ghost on Earth with her brother, his lady love, and their friends then to ascend permanently all by her alone self.
