On October 12, 2019, We have witnessed an End of a Era where we seen One of the Most Influential Shows of the Decade end on such a high note. Sure, Some People didn't care for it and hated how it ended but to me, Like the Adventure Time Series Finale. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic ended in the best way possible. We all felt depressed, Saddened, Possibly even Teary-eyed that a Cartoon about Magical Talking Equines has ended and that we will never experience another Cartoon quite like this one again...

It was only a Month later that we were able to acknowledge its Successor and People were...Divisive on its unveiling. The Show being "Pony Life"

When the trailer debuted back in November, I had to say I was taken aback by it. We were still processing the end of FiM, So having a new iteration of the Franchise being shoved in our faces so quickly felt a bit bothersome to me...at the time. Now, Its been about 7-8 Months since the trailer and the show has debuted in Canada 's Treehouse TV with Claymation-like Shorts to boot. So, What does Checkerboard, The Pony literally obsessed with Cartoons, Especially the ones from the Past 30 or so years feel about this incarnation?

Its tolerable and fun! A Decent 7/10 Show.

However, Looking at the Brony Analysis Community and their takes on the show. They suggest that the show is a bit Hard to Swallow because of its Wacky Antics and its Go,Go,Go! Pacing (*Cough* I'm looking at you, It's no wonder I rarely/never watch the Brony Analysis Community. They barely just accept a episode for what it is. It's almost as if they've never seen a Zany, Off-the-Wall, Full on Hyperactive, Turn your brain off kind of Cartoon in their lives. But that's just me.) It all just brings me back to Underrated shows of the Past Decade like "Mighty Magiswords" or "OK KO! Let's Be Heroes" and how the mainstream views them as Bland, Run-of-the-mill Comedies that has no substance because they don't have a Story Arc. Most of which citing this show as Another "Teen Titans Go!" Wannabe. To Me, I find this show similar to the "Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" than something like TTG or "Thundercats Roar". The Cartoon looks more stylized, The Animation ACTUALLY looks better than FiM(Face it, Puppet Rigging and Reusing Assets can never compete with legitimately drawn Animation),The Characters act more faithful to their previous Counterparts (albeit exaggerated) than being Poor Bastardizations of the Famous Cast, and the Stories are Simple, Straightforward and Fun, Just like the Earliest Episodes of the Series.

The Only Nitpicks I have are the Slang they use occasionally and The Way One Specific Character acts (Its Fluttershy, Just so you know. If I didn't care for her, Maybe even despise her on FiM. With the Latter Seasons giving her Constant Manipulation Tactics and Frequent Fluttershy Favoritism. What makes you think I'll like you for Manipulating your Friends, Forcing others to think you're cute, and acting "HARDCORE" by having a Dark Side. You're not Bubbles from The Powerpuff Girls. So, Please get out of my face. It also doesn't help that she's the one that can swap sizes at will as if that's going to change my opinion of her) But they're only minor and Don't really ruin my feelings toward the show overall.

Even when Cathy Weseluck(Voice of Spike, Coco Pommel, etc.) has resigned from her role in this show. I still have to say that this is a Pretty Good Show. It's not as good as Most of the Shows I'm currently watching on Cable TV (Mao Mao:Heroes of Pure Heart, Victor & Valentino, Amphibia, The Owl House, Big City Greens, etc.) But for a show, SCRATCH THAT! The Only Show on the Failing Discovery Family Channel. Its definitely worth a watch, Maybe even a binge ...Just don't desert the show like "Littlest Pet Shop: A World of Our Own." (That's a fate worse than Death. Being Canceled less than a Year after it premiered.)
