Guess this is my first real drawing in GIMP. Don’t have a drawing tablet, so this was done with a mouse. I wanted to do some more shading practice, and I felt I needed a reference sheet for my main fursona, so this kind of killed two birds with one stone. I’m really feelin’ like a legit artist now that I have a ref sheet for a character. I’ve been using this as my fursona since….fall 2016, I think? Mudkip has been my favorite Pokémon for many years, but it only became my main more recently. Before then, I’ve used an actual “furry” fursona (to be uploaded next!) since 2011. That’s right, ya girl’s a huge furry.

Just a few notes about this ref:

It says encountered in Sinnoh and not Hoenn because Diamond was my first Pokémon game.

In the games, lonely Pokémon like spicy food, but I wrote sweet instead to be more accurate to my IRL self.

I may or may not come back to this description in the future and add more personality details. We’ll see. For now, I’m callin’ it done.
