story and traits:
-Comes from an ancient family of mermaids from the freezing oceans of the south pole. Their home is a vast forest of icebergs very difficult to navigate through, be it underwater or on the surface.
They say there's a big treasure hidden somewhere in this labyrinth of ice, so every now and then there are sea explorers entering the icebergs trying their luck there. No ship has come out of it. Some say there was never a treasure to begin with, that someone invented the story out of malice. Or that maybe the mermaids found they could lure people there like that, but for what purpose though? If there wasn't a trasure to begin with, it certainly has grown over the years on the walls of ice where the ships end up rotting.
-Sometimes goes near the surface to look for jewelry stucked in the ice, although it's also an anxiety inducing practice for her. She doesn't keep everything she founds. Pearls and white jewelry are her favorites.
-More cautious than curious.
-She hates getting out of the water, looking at the sky gives her vertigo.
-Also has sensitive eyesight so always tries to avoid sun light. Sees perfectly in the darkness.
-Most of the time she's swimming around the deepest part of the icebergs where the range of temperature is more comfortable. She has found some jewelry and necklaces hanging on ice formations down here too.
-Warmer waters can affect her physical and mental health.
-The dark brown color covering her forearms and breasts is not part of her skin but a kind of algae.
