A small sketch of the meeting of Yush and Cosmo.

Cosmo helps with the evacuation of the townspeople and she uses her abilities to cover the soldiers. Then in the middle of the battle she suddenly meets Yush. The woman was shocked to meet "little" seedrian there. Yush does not know about Cosmo's abilities, so she trying to lead girl off the battlefield. Cosmo in turn is trying to explain that she does not need protection. In this battle Cosmo plays the past of a defender, but Yush does not listen to her.
Yush is a soldier. Her main priority is to protect her people, especially the top authorities (Cosmo).
So she doesn't care about her life in battle. The main thing for her is to protect other people. This is the essence of her military education: to protect the others without sparing yourself.
Yush is too occupied with this to notice the rockets flying in their direction. But even if she could notice them in advance, she would not have been able to repel them. She used her last throwable weapon at Eggman's robot. Now she can protect Cosmo only by herself. Cosmo had failed to convince Yush to step back, so the seedrian has to push the woman to the side with force.
Some time later, Yush woke up. She is laying on her side, enveloped by a liana. A little ahead, Eggman's robot hung over the ground, flattened by lian like a tin can. Cosmo is towering above him. She really can protect herself. She is not a little girl in need of a protector anymore. Something broke inside Yush. Before, she knew that seedrian colony needed her. But now she has become a burden: she is not able to fulfill her main task.
After the battle, Yush and Cosmo engage in a conversation about what had just happened. Cosmo was displeased with Yush. Their people were given a chance to live, so Yush must save her chance. But the seedrian does not take care of herself. Cosmo does not need a soldier who does not take care about their life. If Yushi wants to continue to fight together with her, she must learn to take care of herself. A dead soldier is a worthless soldier.
It will be difficult to do, but Yush will try to take care of her life.

The final frame is the reconciliation between the two seedrians. During the explosion, Cosmo did not have time to defend herself or bounce to the side, because she had to save Yush. That blow hit Cosmo and she was badly injured. Yush asked her to borrow some part of her "power", so that the girl could recover. Cosmo was against it, but Yush said that this was an apology for not obeying the girl. Cosmo suffered due to her oversight. And this will be the last “sacrifice” for others.
