While Amai was taking the train to Inkopolis for a battle, she managed to find this little Inkling at the station, sitting on the ground.Amai asked her what her name was, and how she got there. She responded with Ia, and she mentioned that she was 8, and didn't remember the prior events.
Ia told Amai that she had no family, and she'd been there for a few hours. Amai asked if Ia wanted to be taken in and taken care of, as seeing this little girl without anyone made her feel extremely bad for her. Ia accepted and Amai took Ia to her apartment. Amai told Ia about how she'd attempt to make an area to help her, and that Ia would be in good hands.
Amai sadly needed to miss out on the battle, but it was cancelled anyways because Judd was on a Vacation with Marina.
