You take "illumination" to a whole new and quite eerie level with this astounding malevolent picture. Bill is amazing as he holds the fires, sparks shooting off from the intensity, though there's also a floral/dendriform feeling to these bursts as they join in with the major portion of the amazing amalgam of so many symbols and glyphs. Better yet, all of these are laid out and stretched around the creature to give a nice outline while also giving the impression of one gigantic maze with so many of the various forms left open in places (and closed off completely in others β like the show's mysteries). Sweet to see that you gave all the symbols Bill used to entrance the heroes in small but noticeable places of honor. (Can't identify them yet, even though I was positive at least one was on my huge alchemical symbols chart.)
Then the open space and flames below, with a few more items from the show thrown in (and maybe some words/ciphers other than the obvious β I have enough trouble with stylized text), with the blackness above the murderous licks of flame eagerly thrashing out to receive and immolate Bill's enemies. Yet they also have many of the books' symbols and some other bits of wisdom (and some thoughts of your own?). Question mark after the horrible message was a nice touch, even if I'm just reading way too much into its location.
Exceptional work, truly. Spectacular even.
Interesting, the term "carpet page" seems so appropriate here, then remember where they found the right door?
