Okay, I made these sprites quite awhile back before I got Photoshop...
Can you guess who they are?
I'll give you some hints:
(Starting from your left to your right)
1-5) They are from a recent Anime that is becoming more and more popular! I would totally love to be part of this Brigade!
6.) She is an old character from a fighting game! Beloved and renowned! She has some powerful kicks and throws as well as her huge spiked bracelets.
7.) She is a Princess of a Kingdom of Mushrooms! She now has here own game on the DS. lol
8.) She comes from a game that I love, and one of my most favorite characters other than Shadow the Hedgehog...
9.) After playing this game, I go around to all of my friends yelling "OBJECTION!"

Ah! The older shows are the best when you're young, and classic to laugh at in the future. Love the older games though more than the shows, and I like some of the current games.

Actually, I was looking up sprite art to figure out what sprite size I should use for an indie game project, and I thought for simplicity's sake, 1 pixel = 1 sq. inch. The sprites your using basically follow that rule but with cute cartoony proportions. I love the look!
Don't think I can match this quality, but I'll certainly try to work my way toward this level. Thank you for creating this!

I notice alot of people who manipulate the Pokemon sprites, try to make it more 3Dish looking, but I prefer to try and have it look the same way you would see it, if it were to appear in the game.
Believe me though, it took me time even master this feel.
I use MS Paint if that helps you out!

Not an easy look to pull off, but you did it! I definitely prefer 2D art that looks 2D.
Good color choices for the skin, too. I added those colors to my PhotoShop swatches so I'll stop making orange people.

I just took the official pictures from the website, and I made sure to use a .PNG format to keep the colors in tact. I notice that if I use either .GIF or .JPEG, the color is so horrible, and they're not as smooth. Plus, .PNG takes up alot less space.

I have some questions:
1. How did you make these? I am working on a special project, and knowing how would be a big help.
2. Are their more of these you've made?
3. Can I use them if nececairy?
4. Do you make these for free?

1. I use MS Paint to manipulate these to my liking.
2. I think I have some more that I made including a single one of Miku Hatsune from Vocaloid.
3. If you do, you need to give me full credit for the manipulation and to Nintendo for the sprites.
4. No I don't, I just do them for fun. I make Gaia Avatar sprites for gold on the website, but I'm booked up for that site.

Yeah, it would be cool I guess... but I wouldn't be able to do it for any other form of payment due to deviantART rules. I can't sell something that is not legally mine. I created the sprites, but I manipulated what was already made, and that could put me in serious trouble.
Also, I work hard on these sprites, and they take up my time, which I have very little of due to a job, and husband, and a toddler, so it would only be fair that I would want to be compensated for my efforts.
I hope you understand. =3

Well, when I chose Kyon's pose, I deleted the arm and took away the smirk that the gym leader had, that way, it looked more like Kyon. =3
