Phew! Finally done with this! This right here is the second of two commissions paid for by . We've been having a lot of discussion about how Neve's daughter Aurora would love visits from "Unkie Gogo", specifically because he always busts out tricks from his stage magic repertoire for her. Gogo may be a bit of a misfortune-prone goof around his friends, but one thing he's actually genuinely good with is kids, and Neve knows it. So Mandy asked me specifically for a picture of Aurora helping Gogo with a magic show. As I fleshed out the actual concept of the image a bit more, I threw in Neve as a bonus, just because I had a feeling her reaction would be a great comedic touch.

Mandy and I have a bit of a running gag between us that, as much as Gogo dislikes the cold, he is sometimes tempted to use Neve's extremely fluffy tail as a scarf. He's made lots of jokes about it to her, and they are never received well by Neve. Here we see Gogo performing the good old magic standard, the chain of handkerchiefs-- only to find a leopard print boa attached to the chain. I like to think that he's genuinely surprised here, like he didn't even have any idea it was part of the trick, and that he knows all too well how it's going over with Neve in the audience. Neve, of course, is not amused.
