When I looked at the eveningsky yesterday i saw some interesting clouds and thought that this might give a beautyful and interesting sunset , so I tried to figure out how to pack my cam , my tabletpc , my tripod and all the other stuff to capture it . Honestly I was to slow and my nighbours had a lot of fun when they saw me trying to get all this stuff out to the fields on my crutches . I saw the sun go down and was sure I´ll be to late but than I reached this field ( I don´t know the english name of these plants ) and made a row of pictures of this really cool contrast of the yellow field and the sunset . Damn I´m looking forward to become more mobile again

Oh, I use a spirit level (on my tripod) and wind up getting just about every photo tilted anyways.
What I do is HDR the image, look at it and try to figure out if it's straight or not. Somehow I always start second guessing myself and become uncertain. Then I upload it as is, my friend tells me to correct, I do, and I upload a new version where i've fixed the tilt.
You lose a bit of the image due to cropping, but I usually agree with him it looks better afterwards.
