Ooo. Purdy. I like the inks and the little blotches and stuff that give it more effect. The hair above the mouth with the dark line and a couple hatches looks a little bit out of place, but I like all the other dark lines and crosshatches. ;.; poo... the highlights give it a very smooth look, and I like her eyes. ._. or is it a him? I mean, I think it's Jesse, right? Argh... I'll just pretend it's a girl so I can lust. =3 piii...

Working with ink is insanely difficult, and usually results in such hard lines with little room for anything soft or smooth. Yet, here, you have shown that you can create amazingly soft touches on an amazing piece of art. I think the method of the rough border and splatters very nicely offset the otherwise clean lines of the face and hair, and the thicker lines on the fingers of the glove is just beautiful, lending a very nice sense of thickness to the stuff. The white highlights I'm wanting to think are done with an artprogram, but if done with a white ink/paint, I highly complement you on your skill with applying what looks like an airbrushed touch in just the right places.
Overall, this is an excellent piece of art, and I would love to see more along this vein. A shortstory perhaps, in manga format without words, maybe only three or four pages. The rough borders would have to be smaller, and the splattering would need to be controlled, but I think it would be an excellent work and a beautiful compliment to this amazing piece.

really good work dude! the messy outlines and general style remind me vaguely of 'the maxx' (really kewl cartoon that was shown on mtv. had very kewl schizoid storyline).
