Well, here's my first official request piece! ^.^asked me to draw Amber. has a pretty long-running comic about her, so be sure to check that out
All-in-all, I think it turned out pretty good (my craptacular grassy background aside.) I had a lot of trouble getting the building right, until I started playing with Google Sketch, which has become my new crutch ^.^ I can put in whatever buildings/room/architecture that I would need for perspective... Change the style to something resembling lineart, print it off, ink it, scan it in, and I've got instant background (well, not really instant, it took a couple of hours actually XD But it looks good!)
Anyhow, I hope you like it Mr. Edge ^.^ I'm sorry it took so long!
Edit: The character Amber belongs to Amber, because she's a real person, and Chibi's a dumb-biscuit ^.^

If I could draw good, I would make one change to that pic.... the guy (probly me <3) crashing through the window and glomping Amber.

Hehe, the climactic moment in the movie, the hero dives through a glass window, fragments drifting through the air in slow motion, and with only a few seconds left.... Grabs onto her finger before he falls four stories!

for the record though, I don't own Amber. She is actually based on a real person and this request was a gift for her. all props go to sketch for making the comic

Sorry about the mixup though. XD I've been so confused about Amber, I think Sketch might have said she was based on a real person as well, but I've just had a time figuring it out XD So I feel sufficiently silly, but I hope she likes it then.

All and all it looks pretty good; I'm glad you found a system to adding backgrounds you like, I personally hate adding backgrounds, mainly because they suck; but I'm apparently the only one who thinks this.
I guess all that's left to say is keep it up, and good luck.

Hehe, I can imagine those would be some very loud taps on the glass. It'd probably sound more like 'thud' ^.^ I like backgrounds sometimes, because they seem to complete the picture, but most of the time, I really despise making them XD I can't draw them worth a darn, and coloring them is usually tedious (either that or they just look bad XD )
