by the way, you said she is only transformed while she is holding the cane... so, for example, when she was stuck against the sunlight she could have throw the cane to somewhere "safe", crossed the sunlight as human, than pick the cane again? in Land of the Dead she holds the book with both hands, so I guess she can drop the cane for some time before becoming human again? or did I understood wrong and she only needs to be near it, not actually touching it to stay transformed?

My theory is that's a question of "who's the owner of the cane ?". Missi took it from Duke and killed him, so the cane belongs to her and corrupt her. But if Duke take it back with the intention of make it his own again, the cane will return to him and maybe turn Missi back as a human.
(hope you get what I mean, english is not my native language ^^ )

that would make sense, but it opens up the question "why didsn't Duke turned back to normal after losing the cane/dieing?" is it his corruption that gives the transformation property of the cane?ย did he turned in a way other than the cane? so many questions... luckly there will be at least 4 season to answer them all...

I'm watching your Q&A video now! Regarding the Missi vampire thing...I personally don't think it was unclear. The way I saw it, she was either a vampire from the beginning, or the cane was the source of the vampire evil. And given that my first theory makes no sense, it was only logical that the cane gave her vampire powers.
And regarding "where did the hat go"...I went back and watched that clip again, that detail is hilarious and cool! It's like he threw the hat with a destination in mind...but we, the viewers, don't get to see the destination. In any case, who cares, Duke's the focus of that shot, not the hat!
One question that I do have now is: now that you've announced that this is going to be a series, will every episode of the series be focused on a Voltaire song? (I know, I know, you don't want to spoil the next chapter, so don't tell us the specific song titles!) But if you are going to use other musicians' songs, can you tell us the names of the musicians so we can start guessing which songs you might choose to animate?
