And: It's just fiction after all. (even if it's about RL people like YouTuber/Bands/etc, the ship is fiction, so is the Fanfiction/Fanart/Headcanon/whatever)
Yes, even if it's something you disagree with in real life - just because it's acceptable in fiction, does not mean it's acceptable in real life.
Or do you think everyone who plays an egoshooter would like to run around shooting people? Highly doubt it.
