I never could watch Happy Tree Friendsβ¦seeing those adorable little woodland critters being ripped to shreds was always too much for me. The only one I remember watching was the lemonade one a couple of months ago because I wanted to see what it was about. I was expecting something lighthearted, zany and slapstick-y, like the old Disney and Looney Tunes cartoons of the '30's and '40's. But, boy, was I wrong. I have more than a bit of a soft side-the blood and gore in the cartoon made me cry a lot and have some nightmares. (By the way, I'm older than twelve.) I don't scare easily, but I can't stand gory stuff at all.
While it depends on the person, I myself believe that Happy Tree Friends ain't a good show and that Web cartoons that don't give people nausea should become popularized.

Don't hate the show for some of the bad fans. There are still good fans, you just have to sift through all the shitty ones to find the good ones. Personally, I love the show, just not all of the fans, especially the fans that get aroused by them. -_-;
