Description

When coming back home, Hikaru felt the atmosphere in the house and as usual it wasn’t good. His father was the first one to come up to him. “Hikaru, one of your siblings saw you with Takami at the festival. Is this true.” Hikaru gave a sigh of course one of his older siblings would see, there’s always someone watching. “Yes, it’s true dad. I didn’t plan on being around him, he just showed up when I was with my friend.”

“Yet you didn’t bother to send him off to go back with that disgusting family of his.” His father sneered.

Hikaru looks down “He provoked me into playing the apple bobbing game with him. My competitive nature got the best of me. Though it was kind of fun.”

“Fun?” His mother speaks up “Fun?! Hikaru you know that we don’t interact with kwillians of..” she almost throws up a hand covering her mouth to stop herself “Polyamorous relationships.”
Knowing his parents were just going to continue on with their rants, Hikaru starts heading to his room. “Hikaru! Hikaru!” He heard his father call. Passing his older brother he copies what his parents always told them “What did we tell you Hikaru! To stay away from Takami!” The anger rose in Hikaru as he yelled back “I know! It’s not like I wanted to! He dragged me!”

Getting into his bed he looks down at the Veneberra plushie that Takami gave him after winning one of the other booths saying ‘it reminded him of Hikaru with his fiery attitude.’

’Maybe it’s not so bad to be around him after all…’ he thought to himself.
