PSD source file of beauty retouch I did a while ago with full access to all layers. Started with duplicate original image, Color Adjustment (ex. find black and white points, sample skin color, etc). Then, remove blemishes, smooth skin, and apply digital make up to sharpen image.

List of layers (top to bottom)

1) Sharpen: Unsharpen Mask, following with desaturate image, then High Pass filter in Soft Light Mode
2) Color Adjustment: find black and white point, neutral the white eyes, adjust skin color
3) Highlight: paint with white
4) Make up: 50% gray, overlay mode
5) Lip
6) Eyes: Lighten the eyes
7) Skin: select the face/skin, excluding eyes and mouth. Apply Surface Blur (bottom layer), then Desaturate and High Pass filter (Top layer)
8) Retouch: remove blemishes, unwanted spots and areas with Healing Brush, Patch Tool, or Clone Tool whatever works for you.
