The Ann from the Original Harvest Moon (SNES) donning a very familiar look, this time colored to be more decisively the SNES version based on a recent art trade I worked on.

While I could say she's in costume to have the clothes and hair of someone from different games in the same series, this is actually her look based on the "generic palette swap wife sprite" used in the aforementioned original game using Elli as a template, because Elli herself bears a remarkable resemblance to this "palette swap wife sprite", which brings about some interesting implications.

Did this because I felt Ann would stand out the most with this makeover from her original look.

So yeah, I could joke that Ann got a makeover to be an Elli clone, but it's more like Elli seemingly modeled herself after housewife fashion from two generations ago. It makes less sense for a nurse,but somehow more sense for a baker girl.

Come to think of it, maybe Grandma Ellen took on this look when she got married, and this is what got Elli into taking this look for her own while tossing a bow in?
