In short: Narciso Anasui had fallen in love. In love with a girl who was falsely imprisoned for a crime she didn't commit. In love with a girl he'd do anything for. In love with a girl... Who didn't return his feelings. And he needed some way, any way to get her affection. And so he consulted the only person he felt he could rely on; Weather Report.

Before Weather could stop him from even thinking about the no doubt foolish plan he had thought up, Anasui had already bolted out the door. "... He's going to get himself killed..."

There was no way this plan could fail! If Jolyne was into women, and Anasui wasn't a woman, then that would be a problem. If it were a normal person in this situation, that is. But with Anasui's ability, [Diver Down] he could burrow inside himself, this changing his own gender! It would be as simple as attacking any enemy, and if things go wrong, he could just change back!
