So much destruction, and so many sturdy souls lost. Mooneye looks upon his work and wonders momentarily how it got to be like this. He'd strayed so far from the child he was, naively believing he could build a brighter future. Now it was too late to go back, he was in the thick of it and there were still those who needed his protection. Yes, no matter how many must die, at least "they" must not succumb. "Nothing else matters," he whispers to his deaf gods. To continue being the guardian angel for those he loves, he will gladly become the devil for everyone else... even himself...
