KoRn released their first official album and fans first witnessed the birth of a new wave of metal.

As soon as fans threw in their discs, they were greeted by the melodic taps of David's drums...
Fieldy's bass chugs softly in the background...
Then it turns up with Munky strumming the 7-string guitar...
Head jumps in with his riff...
Then all hell breaks loose with Jonathan's iconic growl...

"ARE YOU READY?!"

And so nu metal was born and the album became the measuring stick for all American metal bands since.
