These are the first pages from my senior project. What shows here are only the still aspects of the pages, everything else was animated (and I'll be showing those off later).

These pages were meant to establish the setting of the story (a shrine isolated in a mountainous island). Later on in the semester, my classmates suggested I add some sort of texture to my pages to separate the whites in the frames from the whites in between. At that point, however, I already put these pages into After Effects and was loathing putting them through Photoshop again for such a simple change. I just added the page texture in After Effects via masks but that leaves these two as the only originals untextured.

There's an easter egg I put in the third frame of page one. The squiggles on the stone are from a made-up alphabet I made out of boredom, but they actually spell out lyrics of a song I felt fit the theme I was going for (at least, early on in the project). The lyrics are from "Stalemate" by Stone Sour and they appear as such...
