And I bet it wouldn't get so many views if I or you had uploaded it instead of DeathChiix. =/ Maybe 10 or 15 or maybe 20 views, nothing more, only because some of my watchers are wondering what kind of shit I uploaded there. (and after the first "wth is this?" comment I would put into scraps anyway).
It seems to me like it happens very often lately that things popular artists uploaded go to the front page, no matter if it's a mobile phone screenshot, a very simpel drawing or a meme which isn't funny anymore. And once on the front page, it gets even more attention. And my only thought always is "This wouldn'd get nearly so much comments and views if I had uploaded it. what do I do wrong? xD" Which prooves that it isn't the art itself but the popularity of the artist (thausends of watchers and stuff) which gives a deviation almost 6k pageviews within 6 hours. This is kinda sad, I think.

Nothing against DeathChiix, but I don't even get it why she's so popular. She's 14. And her art is cute but nothing special. =/

I figured out that DA search engine picks 1 most viewed deviation out of some specific categories - and you have all chances of getting on front page if you choose the wrong category *better - rare category* for the deviation you submit. But well that's cheating - some sucessful cheating.
