Yep. 

I quit Supergirl because there was a lesbian romance plot that took over when there was an innocent alien that had been imprisoned because one of the guys on their side hated that race of aliens. (They'd just done a "racism is bad" storyline that was preachy a few episodes previous, then completely forgot about it when they really could have used it.)

That would be really cool. 
In the last movie, 5, I hoped the guy who was just trying to buy a dinosaur for his kid, not turn it into a weapon, got out of that mess before everyone got eaten.

I thought it would be kind of fun.  

Yeah.  He certainly didn't deserve to get hurt.  He might have been one of the ones we saw driving away before the action really happened.  I'd like to see that storyline in the next one.    Oh!  Oh!  They are releasing a JP short movie tomorrow!  Eight minutes long, set a year after Fallen Kingdom.  A family on a camping trip encounters some of the escaped dinos!

I like to think of it that way, that his kid is back home riding a dino while the world falls apart. (And maybe that one will protect him from the other dinosaurs.)

I would really like to see one truely healthy relationship between dino and human.  Blue was almost there.  She protected Owen and the others when she realized they were on her side.  But she is still quite wild.  I want to see ONE kid with a dino that follows them around and protects them or something.  I mean, Tigers and lions are dangerous and can rip you to shreads, but there are humans that have very close relationships with them.  Even if it's just a minute or two, I would like to see this conveyed.  

I will.  It premiers on cable, I think.  But then shortly after can be bought on other services.  I'm assuming maybe Youtube or Amazon.  Since it's a short I am not expecting it to cost that much.

At least with showing a pet dinosaur in a movie, a bunch of people won't get dinosaurs and put them in their apartments, then dump them when the thing eats the couch.

Heh.  Yeah.  Stinks when people get pets impulsively.  

You know, that's why Phineas and Ferb had a platypus for a pet.  The authors didn't want that kind of thing to happen, so they picked an animal that was almost impossible to get ahold of.

Yes.  Exactly.  Sadly enough, as soon as a movie/show comes out with a popular animal character that happens.  Everyone buys one and half the people get rid of them shortly after.

It is sad, especially when the shows have an animal that isn't a good fit for anyone who isn't set up for that sort of thing.
