I really felt the story needed to take this turn, I know breaking the forth wall and adding characters outside the franchise seems a little weird and out of nowhere but it's my story so I can do what I wanted. So yeah after this we'll be set in the past and see AKU destroying all the fusions and stuff and ending the war. That's why the game ended, thanks to AKU.
