"Trunkort, The Deforestation pokemon.
As a braracken reaches adulthood and is readying to evolve into a Trunkort, they seak out a large section of trees to call their territory. Trunkort will use it's large and strong limbs to uproot trees and break them down, chewing and mixing with their saliva to mold the chunks of wood and plant matter until a large mound is made , resembling a cave entrance. The trunkort will make a few tunnels and rooms inside and claim it as its nest .

This however is a problem for the ecosystem as they constantly replace bits and have to tear morr trees up. By the time a mound is complete the area around it is in ruin . This leads to the trunkort leaving irs territory to hunt , and most traveling Pokemon or trainers assume the mound is a cave ajd either rest by it or inside and will have to deal with a agressive trunkort on its return.

If a trunkort has to ger across a large gap, they will use their wings for short glides and their legs for climbing. Their wings can no longer be used for flight as their strong sturdy body weighs them down"
