A tragic event occurred recently within the Star Crossed server Mudlark, our Hunting Lead, has unfortunately passed away. He was a character loved by all within the clan and his loss came as a huge shock and hit every clanmate right in the heart. Wavesong, Mudlark's now widowed mate, took the hardest hit. Here I drew Icefire and Meadowkit, father and daughter consoling eachother on this horrid day. In this moment, Meadowkit hadn't yet learnt of Mudlark's passing but noticed the tension between her clanmates. She went to seek her father's comforting presence but when she found him, Icefire just pulled her into a big, suffocating hug, not managing to say much through his choking sobs. Mudlark was truly beloved by all.

And! Now with that tragedy out of the way, please consider joining me on this journey of tears and heartache - I promise it's fun : ) Wavesong the widow is now also expecting kits after having tried with Mudlark for so many moons. It's bittersweet, she won't be able to raise her babies with her beloved anymore but at least he lives on through them. And with that, tryouts have opened!
