I love Franz Ferdinand's song, "Take Me Out" so much, I was inspired to make this animation. Granted, it isn't much, and I was planning a bit more.

Although I am no stranger to animation (I have won a couple of competitions with my work), I am just getting started on using Flash, which may seem weird, but it's true.

To create this, I drew my Panda in a vector program called Moho, and exported each moving part separately. They were then imported into Photoshop, and transformed into GIFs with transparent backgrounds. Then, they were all placed in the Flash library, and animated.

Next came the placing of sound. It was quite a struggle, as my version is MP3 and my audio editor, Ulead Audio Editor 2.5 pro, doesn't support MP3s (it's very old). I had to put it to CD and record it to the hard drive as a WAV, then slice it, then import it into Flash.

This is the final result. A dancing Panda.

Really, it's just practise for my major projects this year. Whaddaya think? Do I need more?
