Profile: After Omega Team was to be refitted to full combat strength, Command took the handful of Spartans that, with the proper training, could turn any war into mere skirmishes that could be ended in one decisive blow. While Caitlyn cares not for Command's original orders, she allowed her spartans to adapt and train themselves, a skill she learned from her former commanding officer, and a lesson that Janus won't forget.

Janus is a spartan of few talents but a gentleman nonetheless to all of his commanders, including Caitlyn. He always seeks understanding and will question the motives of some decisions that are made. In battle, he prefers swift, decisive tactics to end bloodshed and stop time wasting as best he can, which is more the reason why he would carry a bigger gun.

Janus however was picked out of Alpha Team to be trained properly as he is a failing spartan. He suffers from a learning defect that almost ruined his chances to pass his training and become a spartan. In Omega Team, he is respected for his steadiness in tough situations while fighting. He doesn't enjoy a good fight but if he has to, then so be it, and pray you're not on the losing side.

Personality: Calm and adaptive. Janus is a curious individual when with fellow spartans, but this is put aside for the tough combat and is a fast pusher of battle, he hates slow movement in operations, however he has an enormous amount of paitence, a trait that most UNSC soldier don't have nowadays.
