You know? I think your art is as good as and one more thing? Since you live in the Philippines do you know bleedman or just his work, Because peolpe say your good as him, if I'm not misaken?

Oh, I know him. Well, actually, my dad knew him before I did. They used to work together and hold meetings in a local mall in 2000, when Bleedman was still a graduating student. I remember him giving my dad a mint green diskette full of his early PPG designs in it on that same year...and yeah, he also gave my dad 4 issues of some comics he made(entitled Sukol Mo *translated as "Everyone, Fight!"*). I guess the cyborg called Bleed in that comic is where he got his username.

So basically the PPG he released in 2004 here in DA and in SNAFU already existed 4 years before he joined this site. And I was one of the few who knew of it's existence. I even came to the point of calling him Kuya(meaning "big brother") Vinson lol, even though I never met the guy until last month during our school's alumni homecoming party. Yeah, he's part of the alumni of our college Fine Arts department, batch 2001. I even got his address on a scratch paper. And my dad still has his home/cellphone number. Now that I finally met him, I just call him Vinz or Vinson. LOL I actually spaced out when I poked his right arm. It's a good thing too that he still remembers my dad.

Meh, I'm not even as half as good as the guy. He's too good with cell-shading and all that stuff. Well, if it's really true that I'm as good as Vinson, then I think the only things that separate him from me are: skills in Photoshop, popularity, experience, recources, and connections.

I guess...I got this style of mine from his. I never drew like him before I got that diskette. To put things simply, I was inspired. But thank God people aren't hating me for it, like saying, "Bleedman ripoff!" and blah-blah-blah...

Dud, thats like so cool. I've always loved his work. He's a bloody grawing God. YEAH!!!!!!!!. I can't believe it. You know someone who has like 10 million pageveiws how did he make so many pageveiws?

*chuckles* (apparently one of bleedman's associates' friends) told me he got featured. It was a long time ago, according to him, and "Featured Artists" still existed here in DA during that time. Now it's just "Popular". Sad. I guess he got lucky. A fourth year student named Paul(one of Bleedman's current students) also came up to me and said that part of his luck to get featured here was because one of the founders of DA was Bleedman's relative. Older brother? I'm not sure. But it was darn good luck. Actually, there are a lot of Filipinos here studying under Bleedman who just refer to him as Vinz, Sir Vinz or Vinson. Yeah...he got featured, and it was smooth sailing from that point.

Meh...Paul even told me I could LOL at Bleedman when I graduate. But I don't believe him. Vinson is too good for me to contend with. Come to think of it though, deviants and other people who actually know him don't really say that he's "THAT" good. I partially agree to them, because when you do the math, he just got lucky. To tell you the truth, a thousand people-or-so here deserve more pageviews, comments, watches, favs and most especially appreciation than they would normally get.

Bleedman was just one of the lucky people.
