holy crap october went by so fast and was so busy asldkjfls

im sad this is the first year since i started this that i was late but it be like that honestly

So this year I decided that I was going to stop redrawing the main character Elisabeth from Fausts Alptraum for a few reasons. Firstly cause I felt very confined to her design and while I did add my own touches to it between the years I wanted to be able to show my costume/character design improvements in my own way which meant I decided to make an oc inspired by her (and the bg) that way im still in the same wheel house with how each piece looks. Secondly it felt like i was making a chore of fanart which is not something i want to do! so we have this gal instead. Having it be a character thats mine makes me feel better about changing aspects of her (like expression and pose work that might've been out of character) cause I really don't want to do that with fanart.

Anyways shes done and on god i really like how she turned out, when i was first working on it I was worried my style hadn't changed or progressed much in a year but looking at it now im happy with the improvements and for this to be off my to do list |D
