Selene Ivy (I wasn't going with the canon name of Philena. Do any of YOU know a Philena IRL? Didn't think so.) is the most standoffish of the group and has an attitude that makes people call her Poison Ivy or, more creatively, the Icy Islander due to her Orange Archipelago ancestry. Nick, however, just plays her attitude off which annoys Selene until she begins warming up to Nick, mostly due to his saving her life during a particularly chaotic event.

Selene is calculating as well, always exploiting any weakness she can find in her opponent's deck. Her specialty consists of no single type but moreso a collection of Pokémon once found in her home region.
