What if...?

What if there was an alternate universe where the tragedy on the ARK never had to happen, and Maria and Shadow were able to go to Earth together?

What if they were able to live during the same time period as Sonic and the rest of the gang? (Whether it’s because there is never a 50 year gap to begin with, or perhaps they are both put in suspended animation, waking up in the modern day. Endless possibilities in this AU!)

Would Shadow and Rouge ever meet? Or would they just be strangers who pass by each other on the street?

What if... they did meet again under these circumstances?

These ideas were born while I was trying to come up with some AU ideas for Shadouge Official’s AU event. I pretty much ended up day dreaming about a situation in which Maria is able to live and Shadow and Rouge are still able to be together. X3 I couldn’t get this image of them passing by each other on the street out of my head!
