I tried to resist and don't submit it but... the DA call was too strong!!! XD lol

It you see there is in fact the first sketches of the characters that I had made for a comic in black and white. It is a comic that I did before "Second Chance" and I don't know if I will submit the pages one day on DA (finally we shall see of what you will think of it ^^).

This comic is called "Life Key" and takes place in ancient Egypt. It tells the story of the gods Bastet and Anubis who come down on Earth for protect a powerfull object which can give immortality (and other things like that ^^).
But for that, they had to take the rank of "guardian" and are thus "mortal" during their mission. They live in the palace of the Pharaoh (guess whom it is??? X3 If you looked at the episode 25 of Sonic Underground you must know!)
Check I also made a little relooking to the Pharaoh because I found him not good dressed like that... ^^'

I tried to fit the charas the best possible for that they look like the original versions of the egyptian gods. ^^ Bastet is very pretty (that's life! X3) in more it's the daughter of Ra (the powerful solar god) then I gave her a little the look of a princess.
Anubis is simpler because it's little like the death, deprived of any things emcombrant and useless of the life.

I read a lot of things for their symbols, etc... Finally I retained that Bastet was the goddess of the fire (maybe that it's for that that she looks a little like Blaze) and musicians-dancers. She's the defender of the humanity also. 0.0 Thus she masters the fire (notice that the bracelets which she possesses are the same that those in SA2B who allow to control the fire), and I gave her a very big suppleness and facilitated in the fight with hands. She can also become Sekhmet but there it's too long to explain. ^^'

For Anubis, it's a little more simple. Guardian of the deads world and god of embalmers. He has powers as: control the dead bodies, his bandages which are "alive", etc....
It's a little the opposite of Bastet for me...

The funniest it's that Bastet and him get angry all the time and the Pharaoh has to intervene to calm them. XD

Maybe I will try to change a little the look of Bastet... I'm not convicted of it either...

Next stage: Horus and the Pharaoh! ^^
