Description
After drew Jimmy in Panty and Stocking style ([link] ) I watched every episode in two days and drew Heloise in the same style. For those of you who aren't familiar with the show "Panty and Stocking" basically two fallen angels, Panty and Stocking, have to regain enough Heaven Coins to reenter Heaven. They do so by destroying "Ghosts" with their heaven-sent weapons, which are also articles of clothing before they transform. So Panty's "panties" turn into a gun, and Stocking's "stockings" turn into swords. (And if that wasn't a big enough clue, the show's very inappropriate and swears a lot, just a warning)
And when I drew Heloise in this style the only thing i could think of that could transform is her hair tie into a flail ( came up with the flail part) Since she can't necessarily take off her robe.
Also, i need to credit the base i got some inspiration from: [link]

Hey you're not the one who put their address on here
Thanks
But I can only draw skinny people, so cartoon me is "what could have been"

Why would I do that? And who did?
Yeah, you told me that your cartoon persona was skinnier so I compensated.

OHH, I thought you meant someone else. Yeah, I was wondering why you did that, but I have NO intention on flying out to Connecticut any time soon.
And I was spot-on with the hair!

Yeah, ya know how people are like "don't put any personal information online", well that ship has sailed. I think i've given out just about all there is to give out
Probably cause I said that I drew my hair spot on

A screenshot of the Google map would have been much safer. Either way, I'm pretty sure nobody else saw it.
Yep; a truly accurate depiction. And that photo of me was my senior picture I had done when I was 17.

Print Screen and then, paste into your favorite photo editor.
Nice, so it's VERY current.

There are no words to express how much I LOVE you, Chris 8D <3 THIS IS THE COOLEST FRIGGIN THING EVER OMG
I love what you did with her robe, so much! <3<3<3
Hmm... I wonder though, is she an angel or a demon? The thing about Heloise is she's on the fault line of human and demon. So maybe she's a former demon, who gave up her alliance to Hell (perhaps 'cause she was in love with a certain angel? <3), and now she's just a sort of not-quite-human with powers? |D Something like that... either way, BADASS ANTI HERO.
Oh man I'm totally gonna have to draw her with Misery Twoshoes (PSG!Jimmy) at some point. This rocks TOO HARD.

I like how i designed her robe too, just revealing enough.
And I couldn't decide that either, so i'll just agree with your choice.
Glad you like it

you better be, i worked my ass off trying to submit this!
Each picture was on a separate piece of paper, so i had to scan both in, clean and crop in iphoto, transfer both to a word document, print it out, rescan it in, clean and crop in iphoto, save to my flashdrive, and then i submitted it. (that's why her robe looks so orange, it was deep red on my original drawing.

Well of course! This is so awesome, and well worth your trouble to upload it!
I even submitted it to a group for you, if you accept the submission. But I think if you saved it in iPhoto as a .jpg, it shouldn't have been so hard to upload. Why did it take the extra step to scan?

thanks
and i'm so technologically disabled that i only know that complicated way to upload when i want to upload more than one picture on one page. plus, word documents don't open in iphoto so i had to print it out and scan it in as a picture so it would.

DoppelgangerFM In reply to Chr-ali3 [2011-01-07 21:15:52 +0000 UTC]
Well you scanned, cropped and printed the picture; then scanning the printout is simply the exact same thing as scanning the original, am I right? The only difference is the physical media you're scanning, which shouldn't have anything to do with problems uploading. That's what I'm confused about.

Well i'm not sure how deviantart uploads things made in microsoft word, and i don't really want to find out, so i take that extra step so it treats it like a drawing. I just try to avoid as many issues as possible

DoppelgangerFM In reply to Chr-ali3 [2011-01-08 02:56:37 +0000 UTC]
But why won't it upload the original scan? Sounds like a file type mismatch or something.

upload to iphoto, or upload to deviantart?

Chr-ali3 In reply to DoppelgangerFM [2011-01-08 16:29:59 +0000 UTC]
Well iphoto can't read word documents so it doesn't display them there, and i haven't tried uploading a word document to dA, won't it treat it like a piece of literature? I have no idea how it works.

I don't know of any other way to put multiple pictures on one paper (I try not to get my family involved in my uploading problems cause they don't know about my art) So i'm on my own.

DoppelgangerFM In reply to Chr-ali3 [2011-01-08 18:52:54 +0000 UTC]
Yep, stealthiness comes with a cost. I just thought you could post the original scan to dA without printing it first, but it looks good regardless. Do you have any older siblings? I'm trying to disprove to my mom that being a stealth is a middle-child characteristic.

Chr-ali3 In reply to DoppelgangerFM [2011-01-08 20:15:37 +0000 UTC]
I guess i could do that. I could overlay the pictures on the scanner. And no older siblings, but sometimes i act younger than my 10 year old brothers. One of my many mottos is that for every two years that pass, i age 1 year mentally. So i may be 15, but my mind is that of a 7.5 year old.

DoppelgangerFM In reply to Chr-ali3 [2011-01-09 00:54:46 +0000 UTC]
Oh OK, so you'll be 50 one of these years and act 25? That's a pretty extreme analogy, considering your grammar in your writing isn't all crappy. Even though I'm almost 21 and probably am even older mentally, the one thing I haven't moved on past from a younger age is cartoons, mainly because I better understand the references or spoofs, and also appreciate much more of the humor.
I've also been thinking of designing an original character similar to Heloise, but I don't know where to begin except that if she is wearing a long dress, it would be blue or black. Any tips?

Chr-ali3 In reply to DoppelgangerFM [2011-01-09 13:48:42 +0000 UTC]
Well it's not always accurate, but it still works for me now. for instance: i don't understand a lot of my friends' inappropriate jokes, i have parental controls on both of our desktop computers, i'm not allowed to swear, and my parents still think that i have parental controls on my tv. (figured that out in 7th grade, the code was so simple, 1112, you're really creative mom.)
Well if she's human, then her head shape is gonna look like jimmy and heloise's, if she's a monster, then her head can be any shape. And the females always seem to have pointy legs (still need to find correct word) like saffi and jez. And with hair, you should design a style that fits her personality
