Mothman is a resident of the Schmo household (kinda like a pet in a way) after being picked up after hitchhiking. He is from Joe Schmo: Paranormal Investigator.

"See? I have a badge!" -Mothman

Mothman is a very relaxed Mothman. He is like that one roommate who does nothing around the house and is just a lazybones (maybe that's what happened when he got integrated into human society.). But he occasionally gets to help Joe and the gang (if necessary). He is saddened by the reactions to his frightening appearance. When instead of a feathered fright, he's a feathered friend. He wouldn't hurt a fly unless it hurt him or those he cares about first.

Mothman hitchhiked from Point Pleasant, West Virginia, due to him getting lost while foraging and hitting his head, making him lose his memory, and latch onto cars trying to get them to take him home.

What is a Mothman? That post will wait until later today (7/2/19) or tomorrow morning.

Mothman (this design), and the rest of the Joe Schmo: Paranormal Investigator franchise, belongs to me, however, you can use the characters in your projects as long as you credit me for creating the character.

Mothman is based upon a real-life creature of the same name. I cannot copyright that, hence why it says "This design". Go ahead and google it if you aren't afraid of insects or spoopy drawings.
