Chris and Sally have really only become close roughly five days or so before this picture is meant to take place, and Sally has become a trifle bit protective. She thinks that it's not fair that the instant she decides she wants to give this a try and love him for who he is, he may be facing his own death. She does love him, even though he has been afraid to reply in kind.

So yes, she's protecting what she believes to be hers, and she will not let anyone harm her Human. Though he appears to be doing well on his own for the time being, she cannot help but think that even in the best protection available, an ONI holding cell, he may still be in terrible danger. She will not stand to see him hurt. It would not be fair to let him go after they both realized that perhaps it could work.

I also think this is the first time I've had Chris wear his shirt untucked.
