Description This is a drawing I made of Captain Jack Sparrow!
He is played by Johnny Depp in the Pirates Of The Caribbean film series!

I used about 15 hours to make this drawing, and it is only about 4.3 x 5.7 inches in size.

I also didn't blend on this drawing because I wanted to try to achieve a more realistic skin texture.

I used a 4B and 6H pencil and an eraser

To shade the skin I used a pencil without blending, then used an eraser over the pencil.

Only a layer of graphite or are you shade layer and layer of them?

For lighter shades I usually only use one layer of graphite, for darker shades I may use 3 or 4
