This admittedly odd image was inspired by the fairy tale, “Diamonds and Toads ”. I submitted it to last year’s Artbook for the Calgary Comic & Entertainment Expo, and made it in! The theme was “Fairy Tales & Classic Monsters”, and I sought out a lesser known story. The expo also requested I print a limited edition version for their Charity Auction, I’m happy it helped raise funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Alberta . I’ll definitely submit to the next Artbook! Looking forward to finding out the new theme…
