Yeah, could be, with a darker silhouette or different shading.
I'd say it's hard to fit on a body though, maybe just on the back or something

That's what I was thinking, on the back. The body would be on the lower left and the wings spread over the shoulder blades. Anything smaller wouldn't do it justice.
