Batman is cool.
SS is the only material I've ever used. I've considered wax but I'm too lazy and set in my ways I guess to actually try it.

wax is cool, but it's super dark and super expensive to cast in bronze. Keeps it's shape nicely though.

Did you take classes on ways to work with the clay?
sculpting is something I've always wanted to try, but
I don't quite know where to start.

i know this is an old comment, i was the same way about scuplting. i made a lion-o scuplture for my older bro for xmas, all you need is some wood and wire. bend the wire to the shape and size of your figure then screw it into the wood. apply sculpey and just toy with it. make sure to get the clay tool kits from whatever art store you hit up. i used the scrapers a lot to smooth it down. have fun
