Just something I wanted to share that I had behind the scenes for several years and decided to reveal them here; a collage of characters/avatars that I made in a South Korean avatar-centered social networking app called ZEPETO sometime on November to December 2018, with their appearances on the collage being a recent change I made on their designs. I’ll have to see if I have a picture of them in their first designs elsewhere, though. If not, I can try recreating it from memory. How did I get to know and use said social network? From someone I know back on my Twitter days who posted a picture of their avatars, and after asking them, I got my answer and that’s how these characters were made. I made a couple more when the avatar slot limit went from 8 to 15, and it got an extra slot this year, making the avatar slot limit at the time of posting 16. For the time being, I will be leaving this collage I made of the first 7 avatars that I made, with the rest to follow eventually.

While ZEPETO allows you to make more than one avatar, it does not have a way to rename them separately, meaning they all share your name. But with me being me, I wanted to rename them all, so their names goes as follows in the following order:

1st Row: Gloria/Gabrielle (haven’t decided on one of the names yet), Jorge, Sara
2nd Row: Sung-Joo, Keiko, Darrell
3rd Row: Zahira

Additionally, as ZEPETO obviously allows you to make photos and videos with your avatars to share or save to your phone, I’ve been messing around with the Photobooth/Create feature of the app for years to the point where I’m considering having this group of avatars join my main ones like the Floridian characters I made 3 years ago, in the sense that I have two separate main groups still in mind. This means I have plans on drawing them in my style, whenever I’m able to.

And because I had these characters for 5 years, I changed their appearances from time to time, so this means that their designs are subject to change if I want to change them up or found something that would fit their look. As of now, this is what they currently look like at the time I made said collage.
