Description
A sickly child from birth, young peter was cared for by his aunt and uncle through out most of his childhood. Until one day whilst walking through the forest, He is hounded by bullies and stumbles down a ravine. Broken and wounded, he nearly succumbs to his demise until he feels a presence. He turned only to see a sight that his mind could not fathomed to be real. As before him crawled a man sized arachnid that seemed to be made of the very stars themselves. Seeming to pity the young boy, the Star-Spider blesses both his hands and grants him gifts no mortal man could ever dream of. His body now like that of the gods themselves, He now also possessed the ability to stick himself to the world around him by his very hands and feet but had the power to conjure webbing from his fingertips and wrist. Elated by his new form, he used his talents to find and humiliate those who had so wronged him in the past, taking morbid pleasure in doing so until one such scoundrel sought revenge but realising Peter was now nigh invincible decided to take his anguish out on his elderly carers instead. Realising his own actions had( albeit indirectly) resulted in the murder of his uncle, a guilt-stricken Peter vowed to use his power to uphold the safety of his countrymen. On that he day he proclaimed" For their to be great power, their must also come Great Responsibilty".
