Description
Lately I have seen several reproductions of the Johannes (Jan) Vermeer painting “Girl with a Pearl Earring” appearing in my deviant feed.
Since I am fond of this painting I figured I would try my hand at a few modern “meta” derivatives of this classic painting using Midjourney (This is a follow up to my previous deviation Posing for Pearls )
Since I have been playing with imagery stylized from the Hudson River school period that was mixed with elements of surrealism and some darker themes lately I figured it might be worthwhile to apply this style to the derivative.
After a few prompt iterations on Midjourney I got an image I liked and then I did some editing in Photoshop to tie it all together.
I figured I would post the result here for fun…
