Thanks so much David, I have had a lot of grief over this shot with people moaning, I know it's not a fantastic shot but I just post the cat pics to share with friends on here I don't see why some people have to make such a big thing out of it, it's not like i'm doing any harm

I think your work needs improvement, and you've become complacent in your own "skills." There are SO many better photographers on dA, why don't you at least imitate someone better? I mean, yes the cat is cute, but what does the cat MEAN? A hovering, flash-drenched cat on a black background isn't exactly original, either--you can find this same style, this same idea, practically this same work almost anywhere on this site.

Make an effort, and maybe you'll get some real favs, not just those idiots who don't know art from photo.

Well I'm not a photographer and that's not my speciality on here so if I want to post the odd cat photo that my friends enjoy on here then I will.

Just had a look through your gallery and since we are taking about imitating, we have all seen the manips with the girl by the sea but you still did one anyway and all you did was take a girl and stick her by the see and use someone else's brushes and as for your other manip you took someone else's background and stuck a girl there with an axe, how original on both counts, like that's never been done before and how the hell is this [link] surreal? so maybe next time you should practice what you preach. But I can see from your page that you seem to make a point of going around being rude to everyone, how mature of you.
