It has a stump - this cruel women looks like it has gone and got its tail docked, unless she got it like this, if not thats just wrong, cats need their tail for balance and to be able to move properly.
It also puts them through alot of pain getting it docked - just like with a Dog.

actually, if you look at the photo CAREFULLY, you can see that the tail is just curved away from the camera, blocking some of the view.
Just because the photo doesn't show the whole tail doesn't mean it's not there.

Ok ok ok, im really sorry I honestly am.
Im sure you can imagine my relief, its just in this picture it really does look like its been docked.
Im not on a personal vendetta its just that its so cruel to do that to an animal especially a cat.
I did also notice previous pictures of this cat with a tail, I just figured they must have been taken before any docking - so I retract my comment, though its dissapeared anyway and hope I didnt offend too much - was just worried for the cat. who is awfully cute.

i agree that docking is a bit of a cruel and unnatural procedure, but you should be careful in the future.
even if the cat has been docked, you don't know what the conditions were.
maybe the cat's tail was run over by a car or bitten off or something, and it was absolutely necessary to get it removed.
maybe it had an infection or had a tumor on it.
sometimes it's also necessary for the future health of the cat.
some breeds of dogs and cats need to have their tails docked because it throws off their balance... take cocker spaniels, for instance.
my friends have a young cocker and they don't want to get its tail docked, but it flops around a lot and has trouble walking sometimes.
i'm just telling you this so you know that there are good reasons to get an animal docked, even if it may seem cruel at first glance.
you never know the circumstances of the second party fully, so it's always best to reserve judgment (in any situation, not just something like this).
