I think that she should be more out of focus than the Knight piece. In reality the farther the object the more out of focus it becomes. I know that she is probably supposed to be the focal point, but I don't think it will ruin the effect if the Knight piece is more in focus.

i understand perfectly what you mean. The stock pic of the knight is out of focus already so i couldn't really focus it without ruining the feel of it. I prefer to think that the image has a lot of depth of field and that the Knight piece is only blurry to convey a sense of movement
