Currently sitting on literature with these ruks, but for now I wanted to finish up this sketch and draw something to keep the creative juices flowing! After Ake was entrusted with the lost fawn, Ylva, by his mother, Alma, Ake just couldn't find a home to pass her along to and instead adopted the young ruk himself. It all worked out great though because Ake enjoys being a father figure, and Halvor gets to be the fun and cool uncle, which is a role he was born to play. The trio love hanging out by the creeks in the summer, playing in the water and having a great time. Hvitur, though, he hates being in the splash zone, but loves his grazing spot too much to move. His salad is fine, but he'll just be grumpy about it for a while.

New Friend: Ake, Halvor, and Ylva try to get Hvitur in on the fun- but Hvitur clearly has better things to do right now. Granted, he does acknowledge that they do look like they're having fun. He can tolerate them for a while, he supposes.
