Emma Frost is a complex character, always playing on the line that divide what's right and wrong. She's such a smart lady that challenges everyone around her since she joined the X-men. The best example is Cyclops, he has become a better character since he's with her (except in the current Uncanny X-men, but I wont talk about it since that comic doesn't exist on my canon lol)
Another thing that I love from her, is that she's powerfull without being extremely overpowered, her strength lies in her skills and ways more than her raw power. But at the same time she has a lot of insecurities and that makes her more real than other super heroes that are always perfect.
She's much more than a half naked woman, but for many writers is easier to write her like that because they can't handle a difficult character like her. Want a good example about great storylines with her? New X-men from Grant Morrison and Astonishing X-men by Joss Whedon are the best examples
Back on topic I really love your style and I'm glad that you keep working on her lol, because you certainly do a great job especially on her face: fierce look without losing her beauty

She was around for a long time before people really started caring about her. In a lot of ways, comics are like professional wrestling. One of the best ways to give a wrestler some popularity is to have him go from being a bad guy to being a good guy. It might never start making sense, but the audience doesn't care. Juggernaut also experienced an upsurge in popularity when he became a good guy for a while.
Plus, like you said, it surely don't hurt that her boobs are hanging half out of her costume. Hot chick who goes from evil to good? Winning.
